Saudi Arabia has joined many in the LGBTQ+ community in fighting against Rainbow Capitalism...but for different reasons. The government has begun confiscating toys, clothing, and other childrens items that are colored with rainbows. A commerce ministry official said on the state-run news channel, "We are giving a tour of the items that contradict the Islamic faith and public morals and promote homosexual colors targeting the younger generation." Homosexuality and cross-dressing are illegal in the Muslim-majority nation and can be punished with public whipping, life imprisonment, deportation, and death. It is also one of 14 countries to have banned the new Disney/Pixar film "Lightyear" due to the inclusion of a lesbian couple.
