Queer News Tonight is committed to bring you the latest of LGBTQ photographers, illustrators, authors, calendar makers and other cultural representation of the Queer community. With his first book Why Drag, photographer Magnus Hastings became the drag photographer. He shot an almost comprehensive who's who portfolio of the U.S. drag scene. Now, he's back with his latest product: Rainbow Revolution. Full of over 300 photographs, the book comprises two years of the LA-based photographer's work. His scope widens, including drag performers as well as other nightlife personalities, and other staples from the LGBTQ+ community as well as close allies. Hastings tells Queer News Tonight "Attitudes to gender and sexual identity are changing rapidly but the world is still a dangerous place for minority. Governments are increasingly right wing and our hard-won freedoms are being eroded. It's crucial that we are seen and heard." This book would be a perfect Christmas present and we encourage you to look atMagnus Hastings works.
