Bill Maher had a lot to say about the Oscars last week, and that was before he knew what a slapping good time they were going to be. He mentioned how Hollywood tends to remake films that do well, pointing to this year's "Power of the Dog" as a remake of "Brokeback Mountain". Maher suggested a new wave of remade gay cowboys movies is sure to appear soon. Examples he gave were: Once Upon a Time in the West Village, Butch Cassidy & the Some Trans Kid, Django Uncircumsised, The Outlaw Jussie Smollett, 3:10 to Fire Island, Cat Fight at the O.K. Corral, How the West Was Fun, and Seven Brouthers for Seven Brothers.
